We are pleased to now offer our burial at sea services, a dignified, environmentally responsible and economical option for honoring your loved one. We provide services to spread ashes of your loved one 3 miles off the coast of Emerald Isle, either unaccompanied by friends and family (our most economical option), or with up to 6 passengers on board. You may bring flowers and we can provide music for a full service ash scattering ceremony or you can keep it small and simple.
Burial at sea is a timeless tradition that has been in practice for thousands of years. It has virtually no environmental impact, and can cost thousands of dollars less than more traditional burial options. Most importantly, it is a dignified and beautiful way to say goodbye. Many people have a special relationship to the sea- whether they have lived and/or worked on the sea, grew up near the ocean, or just have fond memories of vacations or time spent on the sea. The desire to have one's ashes spread on the ocean is becoming increasingly popular. We strive to provide ocean burial services that reflect the serene beauty of the ocean.
Our Full Service Private Ash Spreading Ceremony is two hours or less with up to six passengers, three nautical miles out to sea. Loved ones may choose to read poems, tell stories or just have moment of silence. Ceremony option include tossing of biodegradable flowers after the spreading of ashes and boat circling for photographing opportunities. Music can be provided upon request. $750
If you are unable to attend the ceremony in person, you can arrange to have your loved one's cremated ashes shipped or dropped off to us. We will work with you to provide a burial ceremony in keeping with your wishes, and promise to always conduct ourselves with the utmost of respect and dignity.
